Glad to see someone else knows of this band. Some of the best flute work of the 70's is on this album. I think I'm gonna spin this today.

| Andrew Latimer has to be one of the most underrated guitarists of the 70s. Not because of flashy guitar solos, but because of consistently inventive melodic lines, a superior chordal vocabulary and an absolutely gorgeous tone. He had the chops for guitar solos, but the good sense to only use them when the situation absolutely called for it. |

Spot on. Just wiki'd him since I wasn't sure what he was up to anymore but I guess he's suffered some pretty serious health issues. Glad to see he's progressed some and playing guitar again.

| Today while I was running around doing errands, I listened to a folder of 500 "rock" songs a friend uploaded for me. I heard everything from Tom Petty to Marilyn Manson, Buffalo Springfield to Nirvana, The Ramones to Elvis Presley.
That just about sums up my musical tastes; I'm all over the place. The only style I like that seems to be missing from this collection is industrial metal. No Ministry, NIN or KMDFM. Other than that I love putting this folder on "random" and listening to what comes up. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| Metal/Rock--including the bands you've mentioned--is my first love. Jazz is my second. Folk is third. Everything else is my fourth, but my exclusions are EDM, modern R&B, Praise & Worship, and Rap. Industrial is meh but still tolerable for me, especially Klayton's work. That about sums it up. Sorry, all this banter probably belongs in a different thread. | |

| I'm also a huge Camel fan, was just spinning 'Rain Dances' and 'Moonmadness' the other week. I think 'Mirage' is actually my least favorite from that era, however. The last one they put out (A Nod And A Wink) is very very very good.
