| Eh, it cost me about $33 for 10 DVDs so that's not too bad. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

NICE!!! Tell us what you think. I am still stuck on "What You Make It". But, you can only take so many craps in a day [yes, I DO have reading glasses next to my toilet....] . It's a great read. The thing I like best is it's the band's own words. Their perspectives on all their beginnings, the albums, songs and tours all the way to present day. Well worth reading! I've started reading Jonathan Livingston Seagull by Richard Bach.

| Finishing Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice today as part of my tour through classic literature. I can't say I quite get the high praise for this one. | |

You read that voluntarily???? Try Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

You read that voluntarily???? Try Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. I read Northanger Abbey for a class in college and was surprised how much I liked it and her writing. I soon after read Emma. Also really good. I wasn't expecting to be way into these but I liked them quite a bit. I just started Burning Down the Haus: Punk Rock, Revolution and the Fall of the Berlin Wall. "Wind of Change" is playing in the background of my brain the whole time I'm reading.

Will you do a review after you’re done? I have yet to find a copy or read it. I thought about doing one, but I haven't had time to write much of anything lately... it was a good read though. Some eye opening stuff, I had no idea how F'd up they all were around the Against the Law era. Anywhoo, since then I've read Runnin' With the Devil by Noel Monk and now I'm in the middle of Red by Sammy Hagar. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

This book is seriously phenomenal. I was like 11 when the Berlin Wall came down, so I remember the event from the news, but it was not anything I was interested in knowing about. It was something happening far away that had nothing to do with me, so change the channel please. But reading about the lengths these kids and bands went to just to do the shit that my friends I did in high school without a thought--have mohawks, listen to punk rock and play in punk bands--beatings, days-long interogations, jailings...it's crazy. And yeah, having a mohawk as a kid made the old ladies at the grocery store double take...but these kids were considered an internal anti-state terrorist organziation. Which, I guess, fortunately, they were in the end. Fascinating read.
