Firewind: the premonition

Any fans of this album?

I scored a copy yesterday, and played it three times so far.

Excellent stuff

I love this album. I had it on repeat for a few weeks at one point. I like some of their other albums too but this is by far my favourite.

Really, really, really, REALLY middle of the road, in all aspects, for me. I can't get through the whole thing. First 3 songs though

It's the one I listen to most by them.

Burning Earth is my favorite Firewind album...

Burning Earth is good, little more raw.

Those first three songs are three of my favourite songs ever. The rest of the album is good, but doesn't approach those favourite songs.

Of the Firewind albums I've heard, I'd rank them like this: Allegiance>>>The Premonition>Days of Defiance>Few Against Many.

I recently ordered Burning Earth after I saw them, so I'm excited for that to arrive, but I'd like to buy the other two as well!

'Between Heaven And Hell' has some really really good stuff on it, get that one. Raw and fun production. Has some Teutonic sound which I won't say no to.

premonition is pretty weak. It doesnt hold a candle to Allegiance, my favorite from them.

That's what is so great about this place. Exact can be so wrong and have this totally crazy King fixation and we still like him.

I love this album..I love all firewind's albums though. One of the better power metal bands around to me.

I agree that all firewind albums sound alike. But you always garantee a couple of excellent tracks on each one

I like those albums with Apollo on vocals. This one has a few hooks that last long. Their cover of the Flashdance song by Michael Sembello is special, and I notice some 80's Gary Moore influences in the album as well. Really neat for a band not so well known, and they can surely give the more established names a run for their money. Not surprisingly, Ozzy has picked their guitarist to play for him.
