Really? Even over Moving Pictures? Yes. I have to say. Moving Pictures has great stuff on it, but I have to skip around on the CD now. I am burnt out on alot of it. Whereas Signals has never disappointed me. |

| On this one I'd have to go with Permanent Waves. Signals in a close second, and Moving Pictures in third. | |

| I love Permanent Waves, Moving Pictures, Signals and Grace Under Pressure all about equally. But, I vividly remember playing Subdivisions over and over and over when it first came out...I thought that synth sound was wicked as hell and the lyrics made alot of sense to a 12 year old outcast like myself at the time.
The same goes for "The Weapon" which is one of my all-time favorite Rush songs and used to give me chills.
So I voted Signals on the strength of those memories.

| Permanent Waves through Signals have lots of strong tunes and great musical ideas but Moving Pictures was the really last GREAT Rush album (IMHO) _________________ | |

| It took me forever to get into 'Signals' as a kid, being that there was not enough guitars, now looking back on it as a 41 year old geezer and not 13 year snot nosed punk, my opinion has changed a great deal and feel 'Signals' is an excellent album. | |

| Throughout the years, it would have been a slam dunk in that of Moving Pictures, but that album (even though it's a masterpiece) is quickly becoming AC/DC's "Back In Black". In other words, I could care less if I hear those tunes any time soon. I went with "Signals"... | |

| Voted for Moving Pictures and Signals, although I have listened to the latter a lot more. "Subdivisions" and "The Analog Kid" are great songs! | |

| This one isn't even close for me.
I pretty much gave up on Rush after the 70s albums but then they released Moving Pictures and I thought they were back. Nope. Back to a lot of keyboard-centric, prog noodling after that one. I haven't given them the time of day since.
But Moving Pictures is my 3rd favorite Rush album behind 2112 and Fly By Night. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| Presto was the first Rush album I bought, so I have soft spot for it. Since multiple votes are allowed, I've gone with that and Moving Pictures. | |

| I guess I'm one of the few that like the 70s and 80s version of Rush about equally. Even though the difference between the eras couldn't be more pronounced, there is something in the core sound of RUSH that just gets me, regardless of time period.
I can jam Fly By Night and play Grace Under Pressure right after and it doesn't sound odd to me at all. It's all RUSH. |
