Yeah, I think it's common thought that the Who aren't metal in the slightest. They were most definitely an influence though.

That is an awesome King Crimson influenced album. PFM ARE my favorite Italian Prog band! I suggest you check out Banco del Mutuo Soccorso as well.

I've heard of Banco del Mutuo Soccorso before, but I've never had access to any of their albums. Spotify only has one of them, and it's a newer one. Didn't wanna start out with that, you know? I may have to YouTube some of their stuff soon.

I'm listening to:

Try Darwin!, Banco from 1975(it has the English versions of songs from previous albums), Io Sono Nato Libero or the first one Banco del Mutuo Soccorso. There is also one with a different singer Donna Plautilla(album name) which was released later but all the songs are pre-1972.

There good too, it's just that I connected better with PFM(with Jet Lag being their last really good album).
