Messiah Force are straight forward, traditional heavy metal. Good album though. Both the vinyl and CD bootleg are apparently pretty rare.

Yes, I agree of MF not being thrash. I found two copies at Wacken this year, but both were bootlegs with fake matrix.

Is the entire STONE discography rare/hard to find? I only have the Emotional Playground CD and the s/t on vinyl.

I guess that the BLACKEND CDs are becoming harder and harder to come by as well. I like all three of them but "Mental. Game. Messiah" is my favorite of the three.

Yup, the Stone albums are rare. They were all rereleased, but are only available as imports in the US. The Megamania perssings (the first presses in Europe) are the hardest to find, but the other versions also fetch a nice price on eBay (Black Mark for Emotional Playground, Teichiku for Colours, and Mechanic for the S/T disc).

Original pressings of Stone, Emotional Playground and No Anaesthesia! were all sold on ebay in the last week or two - each went for cca $50.

I've got the s/t for about $20 1 month ago, but it has a punch hole, although I don't care for that at all.

Another hyper rarity which wasn't mentioned yet, I think: Visitör - s/t. Another one that was bootleged by Greeks recently too!

Did it ever see an original CD press? I've thought about picking up that bootleg a time or two, as I've never been sure it was officially pressed to disc (though I know it's getting rereleased).

Yes, it was a private press in 1993, also from that friend's collection ...
I saw pricekillers or kreator72 selling it once on ebay, with buy it now price for something about $70, but that's the only original copy I came across by ... oh, and I also saw it on a sale list from some German trader .... for 130 EUROS!!! (about $180)

I see that bootleg often in bins on European metal markets along with likes of I.N.C or E-X-E bootlegs, but I never got to see the matrix number - however I bet that it is album's title.

I think that Stormspell once mentioned that the band was going to rerelease it on a CD, but they gave up when they saw all these bootlegs coming up ...

My mistake, the price was 90 EUR (120 dollars) ... but he's also selling the original Pantera's Power Metal for 140 EUR
