Ice-T namedropped Slayer in one of his songs, and would collaborate with Slayer a couple of years later.

Saxon namedropped Deep Purple in the song Play it Loud.

Here is one of my favorites. This song is a total rip-off of Kid Rock's American Bad-A$$, but very very Tongue-in-cheek. Oh, and the lyrical shredding of grunge is fantastic.
