Is that Salisbury the US or UK version? You know you gotta own both for the different tracklistings
I've really taken a liking to very early Purple myself. It's the US version with the red cover.
Cool!!!!! I know they UK one has one or two different songs on it. I have both versions. I need to list them on my web site and note the differences. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| From Poobah Records [img] [/img] [img] [/img] Went back the next day and they had put these out. All five would be very high picks on my personal want list. Dirt cheap too. [img] [/img] [img] [/img] [img] [/img] these were in their freebie bin [img] [/img] this one was from Hastings. Really great stuff. [img] [/img] | |

| That last one looks like they took the early Split Enz look!
That Diesel album is pretty decent. If I remember correctly the guitarist from Kayak is in that band.

| I was expecting something a little heavier from a band named Diesel, but it's a good listen once I got past my expectations. Plus it was free. No idea why since it is in good shape. Poobah is a funny place since the owners are really only interested in EBM and way underground hip-hop. They apparently run their own label. They could give a F-All about the others records they carry. Places like that are great for bargains.
Specimen may look ridiculous but it's an amazing record. Early eighties goth more on the straight rockin side of things. Pretty far ahead of it's time.

| Lake is great. They also had their albums but I'm holding out for the cds since that is the type of stuff I enjoy on road trips. I'll have to look into Kayak. | |

| Went to see Ripper Owens last night in Frederick, MD and while I was waiting for a friend from Baltimore to get there, I found a cool record store (Record Exchange) and ended up buying some vinyl that seemed to be in mint condition (looked great, not much surface noise when I played it). Picked up Def Leppard - Pryomania, Quiet Riot - Metal Health and Cheap Trick - At Budakon. | |

| I have been buying more 7" EP's and singles for the last 6-12 months, then I did in all of the late 1980s! ... and that resulted in buying a lot of vinyl LP's too. I hate the prices for most as I can still buy new hc/punk 7"s for only $3 to $5, while most metal starts at $5 or $6.
Ordered & enjoying - Necrowretch , Die Wasted, hardcharger, Wishmaster, Wither, Borrowed Time, Morbid Execution Eps.
Militia, both Rezet albums, Annihilation Time, Axxion, two Behemoth re-issue LPs , etc
It might only be me, but it seems crazy that a small piece of vinyl (7") can cost almost $20 (re: Huntress 7" , Sign Of The Jackal with a patch) which is the same cost of brand new LP's

| I think I'm about to head down the endles vinyl highway... I have had a copy of Kansas - Drastic Measures for years on vinyl, and my label boss is about to hand me his extra copies of Point Of Know Return and Monolith...bringing me to a whopping 3 vinyl titles... Here I go... _________________ FINAL SIGN

Here I go... Monolith is sooo underrated! Hopelessly Human is a monster of a song off of POKR, easily one of my favorite Kansas tunes.

Hopelessly Human is a monster of a song off of POKR, easily one of my favorite Kansas tunes. Yeah, Kansas is one of my all time favorite bands. Like w/ CDs, I won't collect everything...just certain bands (all time faves) and then even only certain titles. Like, w/ Dio, I'd just get Holy Diver and The Last In Line...while on CD I'm getting the whole discog... _________________ FINAL SIGN
