| If I explain this right, it might be fun ? Who knows The premise is pick a band and then choose an album by another band you'd like to hear them record. Sounds simple enough. A particular era and line-up can change particulars, so elaborate on that as well. My first one is the "Lights Out"/"Obsession" line up of UFO doing Rainbow's "Long Live Rock-n-Roll" NEXT...... _________________ | |

| Diamond Head re-recording Metallica's Ride The Lightning album, in 1981; how is that for a trip? U wouldn't need acid for that one. | |

That's a great idea, except I would choose "Kill Em All". The demo version of "Hit the Lights" sounded like a DH rip-off anyway ...

Cool, brother, how about this, Diamond Head re-record Kill Em All, but the master tapes get lost and fall into the hands of Quartz, who of course record such an epic!!!!

How about Iron Maiden (current line up) re-record Genesis' Selling England By The Pound Or SAXON re-recording Maiden's Beast - heavy metal thunder mixed with (Gangland) as its the filler and worst track on the album. C'mon, who here likes effing Gangland. Should have been called 'Elephant In The Room,'

Even better - turn it around and have Mortician do Nelson's "After the Rain" _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| I would've liked every era of Sabbath to each do a version of Nirvana'a In Utero.
This topic reminds of the time Camper Van Beethoven did a complete recording of Fleetwood Mac 's Tusk. I was so excited since that is my favorite Fleetwood album and I always liked CVB. Boy was that record a major disappointment. Idea was cool, execution not so much.
