| What are some of your best examples of terrible final albums by bands who broke up? Metal or Hard Rock of course. | |

| I was thinking about this the other day ....
... the ultimate answer is ....
FORBIDDEN - "Green".
What a talented band and what a HORRIBLE UNLISTENABLE album.
It's worse than Load or St. Anger. Or anything out there save for Thrash Queen.

You're nuts! Yes, Green is very left of center compared to their other albums, but it's neither horrible nor unlistenable. In fact, it's a pretty kick-ass record. I get that acknowledging that it's a Forbidden album is a bit difficult to reconcile, but separate that part from the actual music and it's a great album. You've heard Omega Wave, though, right?

| Oh yeah, of course. After they reformed 15 years later. It's much, much, much better than "Green". I think everyone feels that way.

I love Green, but yeah, I'd say Omega Wave is the better album. At least in terms of the rest for Forbidden catalog.

| Weakest - final - that made me laugh - interesting though - Axe time - from the record label excs ! Pow ! I almost died when Aerosmith put out "Draw The Line" - Then "Night In The Ruts" - that was long ago - but I remember em Do bands really stop releasing cds now ? ICON - with that 3rd release, new singer, comes to mind. | |

| Dangerous Toys- The artist formally known as dangerous toys. What a terrible album. They should've changed their name for this release like they thought about doing. And I agree with Eyesore about Green. While it's different from what you're use to from Forbidden, it's still a good album.Once you get past the initial shock. Haha! | |

| I meant - Draw the Line - I thought was weak - and maybe was going to be their final - lol - was I wrong - then Night In Ruts was releaed - I thought that was their weakest - and maybe that would be their final - was I wrong - KISS Unmasked, Elder...comes to mind too If it's a weak release - the bell often tolls - for the band - so their weakest release - becomes their final release - lol - ( not funny for the band though ) KROKUS comes to mind - they got weaker and weaker - | |

None of those albums you listed were are final albums by a band. All those bands have many more albums in their catalog.

| This topic only works for bands that are no longer together. As much as I've yawned my way through every Metallica release since the early 90s they are still together and so their "final album" has yet to be determined. |

With a drummer like Jayson Sherlock, they should have went full throttle heavy and fast! What a waste...

None of those albums you listed were are final albums by a band. All those bands have many more albums in their catalog. Night in the Ruts is a solid album and one of their most underrated IMO. "No Surprise" is a superb autobiographical rocker. "Three Mile Smile/Refer Headed Woman" is one of my favorite Aerosmith songs ever and is also one of the few "political" songs that Aerosmith ever recorded. "No Surprise" and "Chiquita" are two of the heaviest songs Aerosmith had written since "Rocks." "Think About It" is an overlooked Jimmy Page song from the Yardbirds. Agree with whoever said Dangerous Toys. What a terrible way to go out. Holy Solder - Promise Man _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

According to Warrel Dane, they're not. Metal Archives lists their status as "on hold" at the moment. So he probably intends to do something with them again at some point or another, but when remains a question mark.
