This is another excellent album for the mighty Saxon. It's only default is that it's too short at 39 minutes...

Cool! I preordered a vinyl copy for 9.99 from Amazon. It arrived earlier this week and to my surprise, it was a limited edition picture disc. I haven't listened to it yet, but it's a very nice package, gatefold album cover, nice inner sleeve with lyrics...

Really good stuff again, these guys are so consistent lately.

This is definitely a return to their more recent power metal sound. Think Metalhead rather than Call To Arms. Which is not a bad thing because these guys haven't written a crap album in over 20 years.

Can't beat us Europeans for good honest metal. Saxon are a great band, got a bit confused when the hair metal in the States kicked off in the 80's, and tried to do a DEF LEP. Still, we'll forgive them for that when u get metal this good.

Best album recorded with this line up (better than THE INNER SANCTUM, INTO THE LABYRINTH and CALL TO ARMS in my opinion). I bought it on picture disc vinyl (looks and sounds increible cool) and its just a killer album. In my opinion their best since UNLEASH THE BEAST from 1997. A future classic. BUY OR DIE.

Got to say I'm really enjoying this album too. Saxon are one of those bands for me that just don't write crap music. OK so some of the mid to late 80's stuff can be hit and miss but I like pretty much everything these guys have done.

First saw them live on the Lionheart tour and Lionheart is one of my favourite albums from then. Ever since that album everything since has been solid gold. Loving sacrifice.

I think Inner Sanctum is the one that gets the most listens out of those listed by krokus but I love them all.

Listening to Sacrifice on Spotify. It's great! Much better than Call To Arms which I found to be disappointing. I'm obsessed with that incredible orchestrated version of "Crusader." Blows me away!

Warriors of the road makes me speed to the max. almost got a ticket a few days ago...

I really need to listen to this album. Hell, I need to listen to more Saxon. Why they never truly caught on for me is a mystery.

This is a great album, I almost guarantee you'll like it.

I believe it. I had heard a track when it came out and got goosebumps. But for whatever reason I didn't pursue it beyond that. May have made my top 10.

Hell, I need more Saxon period. I only have Metalhead and Killing Ground. They have quite an extensive discography so it would take some time collecting.
