Yeah, actually, I still haven't heard the new Aerosmith. I had it in my hand last Friday, but put it back on the shelf. I'm sure I'll buy it eventually. Plus, I'm sure Aerosmith's new album will linger on the charts longer than KISS. KISS always has a respectable chart debut but disappears quickly. Aerosmith is more radio friendly and will probably have at least a minor hit single from the new one.

I guess Aerosmith, since the Kiss has some good songs but is kind of generic. However, Van Halen's "A Different Kind of Truth" blows both albums away (its a shame that album got so little attention).

I picked 'Monster' because its a better album, and delivers what it promises, a kick ass hard rock album.

A Different Kind of Truth sold 190,000 copies in it's first week of release. Monster sold a little under 60,000. The new Van Halen got plenty of attention.

I voted Kiss because that album is damn good!!! I can't stand Aerosmith.

Monster is what I voted for - but I do like the Aerosmith album as well. Two better than average albums from both bands.

Monster, but I thought even that was a bit disappointing.

Music From Another Dimension is decent but bogged down by having too many tracks, too much filler and too many ballads.

Haven't heard either one. Saw Aerosmith in concert and I guess the songs I didn't recognize were from the new album. Good concert.

I'll still stick with Aerosmith's Music... Trim off the dreadful ballads, and you got yourself a decent album. KISS' Monster has grown on me since the last time I commented here, but it's nothing great. It sounds like KISS, which is good enough for me.

picked Kiss because while it is not their best album it is still a solid hard rock album....aerosmith's album not so much...some of the songs like they did with Carrie Underwood are not even rock in my view.... If aerosmith wanted me to buy a record they need to put out a solid rocking album like they did in the 70s..they need to go back to square 1....

Monster hands down. A great album as good as their 70's out put. Aerosmith's album has to go down as one of my biggest dissapointments in a long time. I tried listening to it awhile back & still didn't like it. They have lost it.

It won't let me vote, but I am going Aerosmith all the way.

Monster by a mile. Great album!

I voted for KISS. It's the better album of the two.
