| Not a big Aerofan, so I picked KISS. Although I think Monster isn't as good as Sonic Boom, the Aerotracks (listened to most of the album) really didn't do much for me and had too many ballads. It was even more forgettable than Monster. | |

| It's funny how you would expect the album titles to belong to the opposite band. | |

| Can't vote. I only have Kiss and I haven't heard enough about the new Aerosmith to even think about picking it up. My Aerosmith fandom only goes as far as Get A Grip. | |

| I went with Aerosmith, though I like them both quite a bit. The Aerosmith is really good, minus a few too many sappy ballads. The songs are immediately hooky. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| I don't care much for the current version of Kiss. I like Aerosmith better. They do a lot of ballads, but they're good at it.

| KISS. Aerosmith ,for me, hasn't done anything good in a very long time. The new stuff I heard of Aero is just the same old bland stuff they've been churning out for years. KISS is just the better listen. | |

| Between these two albums, I go with KISS. I like both bands though, but earlier materials are better by far from both. | |

| Aerosmith. Aside from the horrible ballads, it's not bad. Not great, but not bad. Nothing on KISS' Monster grabbed me the coupla times I listened to it. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

| I don't hate all the ballads. The first and last ballads reminds me of their 70's ballads. "Tell Me" was written by bassist Tom Hamilton and seems to be a genuine heart-felt song. Also, "Another Last Goodbye" reminds me of songs like "You See Me Crying", "Dream On" and "Home Tonight". It also has some great vocals from Tyler. Those high-pitched screeches are his signature IMO. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| Eh, I listened through the whole albums once, then on subsequent spins, I've been skipping over the ballads. I'm sure somewheres down the road, I might find one that I'll warm-up to, but for now, I'm ditching them. It also helps the pace of the album. 16 tracks (plus 3 more on the 2nd disc) is a little overkill. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. It does help the pace of the album. Legendary Child flows perfectly into Street Jesus. "What Could Have Been Love" is absolutely skip-able. Then Street Jesus works great with the upbeat Lover Alot. No need for that Carrie Underwood song at all. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| If this was against KISS "Sonic Boom I would have definitely gone with that album. However, I'm not enjoying Monster that much.
The new Aerosmith has a lot of disappointing moments, but there are a few songs here and there that put it over KISS for me. | |

| Aerosmith sold more CD's first week than KISS........ And it looks like Tyler's AI experiment added a total of 7,000 more albums sales than Monster. KISS - 56k first week, Aerosmith 63k more sales | |
