Tom has samples of two new songs streaming on his site.

Definitely not like Cinderella, but not too far removed. You can tell his voice isn't the same as it once was. A little shaky, too. Guess that's expected given the damage he did to his vocal chords.

I really like the first song and the second was kind of boring. I think that way he is singing on these tracks works well with the music as it is played. An album of his would be great.

Oooo-faa! He sounds really harsh on that first tune. He lets out a scream at the beginning that sounded like nails on a chalkboard to me. He's gonna blow out his cords again if he keeps that up.
As for the songs, eh, they were ok. I'd like to hear a little more before I'd commit to a purchase. I'd love a new Cinderella album, but if this is gonna be as close as we get, it'll have to do.

I like it and think his voice fits the songs. I've heard that other band members play on this but haven't confirmed it.

The Flower Song reminds me of Peter Criss, Janis Joplin, and Jon Bon Jovi.

Tom Keifer had pull out of the one of those cruise ship gigs;
Just ran into Eric from Cinderella in the hall. Said @tomkeifermusic isn't making the cruise. In hospital with pneumonia. Get well soon Tom!

Incidentally, does Tom Keifer have a real job? I ask because he can't be making any money from music at this point.

I imagine "some" of those multi millionaire MTV era stars made sound investments with the cash they earned ?

Could be. I was wondering because of all his voice troubles, which seem to preclude him recording anything or touring.

I would assume he gets some decent royalties from all those Cinderella comps that I always see everywhere. I would also think there would be a high demand for using a lot of their stuff in television/movies/commercials. Some nice money to be had in doing that.

He must have invested wisely because you don't hear much about him doing anything else, aside from the ocassional live shows. Far as I know, he doesn't produce other acts, write for anyone else, or appear on reality tv shows. So he must be doing ok.

He owns a cheesesteak operation on the east side of Philly. Surprised you didn't know that, MG.

Perhaps he's living off of those royalties.

Their motto is "Don't Know What You'll Get Till It Comes". Order your Night Fries with a Long Cold Budweiser on the side.
