| When asked once about his views on politics Elvis answered.. "“Honey, I’d just soon to keep my own personal opinions about that to myself... Cause I’m just an entertainer and I’d rather not say.” I wish more musicians felt this way. | |

| One of my favorite bands is Warrior Soul and they were political as hell... I may not have always agreed with their message but they kicked so much ass that I put up with it...
Otherwise, I tend to agree with Denis Leary: "Don Henley's gonna tell me who to vote for? I don't f*ckin' think so, pal." _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

- And Bono
See, I don't really see this with Bono. I've seen him meet with leaders as it pertains to AIDS and those starving in Africa. I think the guy is pretentious in many ways, and at times I want to rip those damn shades off his face, but I think his heart is in the right place when it comes to these two causes. When he feels these causes are being underfunded or are neglected completely then he becomes more vocal. I will never fault anyone for that, if these are near and dear to their heart. As scrutinized as Bush was, I believe both Bono and Elton John stated that nobody did better than Bush, when it came to the war on AIDS. | |
