Just when you thought TV couldn't get any worse...

Toddlers and Tiaras has a spin-off show.

Here Comes Honey Boo Boo premiered recently.

Toddlers and Tiaras has to be the most revolting show on TV, and the fact that it now has a spinoff is disturbing.

I don't like to put up threads about things I generally dislike, but this is just pathetic.

I've never watched the "Tiaras" show nor will I bother with this spin off.

Just the promos for "Tiaras" creep me out. You have to wonder what possesses these parents to dress their kids up like miniature porn stars and parade them in front of creepy old men. Those shows are a pedo's paradise.

Sadly, someone must be watching for there to be a spin-off. I have to admit, though, I did show a couple of minutes to my students when we were talking about emotional and psychological abuse in class! Thankfully, they were as revolted as me!!

I have never watched any of these shows, and I can't believe someone would subject themselves to watch this steaming pile of sh!t

Remember when "TLC" used to stand for "The Learning Channel?"

With all the crap on that network now, I wonder what we're supposed to "Learn" from their programming.

If it's not mini-porn stars and their psychotic stage moms, it's families with 19 kids and counting, or the daily life of midgets (excuse me, that should be "little people"), or drama in a family owned bakery.... it should be called the WTF Channel.

Exactly. These girls are just a step away from doing pole dances while "Pour Some Sugar on Me" plays.

Shows like this are why practically the only things I watch on TV are news or sports programming. The whole "reality" thing is just waaaaaaay out of control.

yep. I was intrigued when the first Survivor came out but it has really spiraled out of control. The saddest thing of all is people still watch them.

I've never even heard of these shows much less would want to watch them. The titles alone make the shows sound like must avoid tv.

Watched it one time to see what the fuss was all about and thought it was terrible. I'll never get the appeal of these shows. Just dumbed down, mind numbing "entertainment".

I've feel the same way about that stuff. Almost like legalized child porn.

I hardly ever watch TV anymore - reality tv has ruined it, and its got so dumbed down its practically unwatchable, save for the odd drama here and there.

I hate 99.999% of reality TV. Whatever TV I watch anymore is pretty much limited to the cable or premium channels like Comedy Central, FX, HBO, Cinemax, or Showtime.

Buckwild is MTV's latest reality series which is hoping to fill the void left by the departing Jersey Shore crew.

Situated in Sissonville, West Virginia, Buckwild follows the wild lifestyles of a group of nine friends living in country America.

But these young adults are a far cry from their "gym, tan and laundry" loving MTV counterparts.

"What seems to be happening is a lot of riding down hills inside giant tires," writes Entertainment Weekly of the series, "driving trucks dangerously through mud, tearing up the trails on ATVs and motorcycles, drinking, body licking, fighting with neighbours, and doing Jackass-y stunts that sometimes involve construction equipment."

The first promo for the show introduces the main characters, including high school prom king Shane who says he doesn't even own a mobile.

"I don't have no phone, Facebook... none of that internet stuff."

While another says West Virginia is a place "founded on freedom”.

“For me and my friends, that means the freedom to whatever the f--- we want,” the narrator continues.

“Our motto around here is, whatever happens, happens."

The series, which is due to launch in the States on January 3, will fill the same time slot left vacant by Jersey Shore.
