TRIBUTE bands releasing DVDs?

AC/DC tribute band Highway to Hell are releasing a DVD in the future. I don't really see the point of this.

I wonder if Gene Simmons will profit off of this and have dozens of KISS tribute bands, including a midget tribute to KISS?

Pink Floyd tribute "Wish You Were Here" were selling dvd's for $25 a pop! Now I believe that's where homage becomes plagiarism!
