After I found this band about a year ago, I fell in love with their unique take on black metal, with a very progressive, yet ambient sound. I've yet to find anything like it, but I'm still searching for good ambient metal, any other bands similar to this?

I really like Alcest a lot too. If you like them you may want to check out Les Discrets as well.

Good call on maudlin of the Well, OCI. I was going to mention Alcest as well, but it seems I was beaten to the punch.
More on the black metal side of things, you may like Ulver or Agalloch.

yes, maudlin of the Well is phenomenal, 'Leaving Your Body Map' is absolutely an essential album for me, even out of all the albums I own, that one is just an easy pick. That one and their debut. Anybody who loves adventurous, very atmospheric metal or just music at all needs to get some of their stuff. Preferably the first three albums..............

I found Bath to be such an easy album to relax to. Really mellow.

Ya know, I think I don't have any Ambient Metal unless you count that album Arjen put out with that 14 year old female singer many years ago.
