| I already noticed an error in your Havok review. You refer to their album Time is Up as Your Time is Up. | |

| not in this most recent one, but in the last one from April, you might want to revisit the Royal Hunt album. While they have always been exceedingly symphonic, there is also always a huge foot in 80's styled hard rock and metal melodic fare and lyrically there has never been any fantasy themed stuff going on, but the review seems to suggest otherwise. I would also wholly recommend any/all of the non-DC stuff, specifically 'Paradox II: Collision Course' which has Mark Boals on vocals and is an even better record than 'Show Me How To Live'. | |

Is Paradox II less keyboardy? _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| On the new Metallica review:
I was surprised to read the this is 'rough mix' material, as the recording is as good as anything the band's recorded, and better than song.
I think you meant some? | |

| in the Sepultura review you write "Even though Sepultura is now only represented by two founding members, i.e. Andreas Kisser and Paulo Jr."
neither of which are founding members. Paulo is the longest standing member though. _________________

I think you meant some? Thanks. Will fix both. Even though Sepultura is now only represented by two longstanding members, i.e. Andreas Kisser and Paulo Jr. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| i love A-Lex about as much as Kairos. Roorback isn't as great as those two, but still a strong album. it is definitely a step up from Nation, which was rather weak in spots. _________________ | |

| I've been digging A-Lex. Haven't spun Roorback yet. I should have started with that one rather than going backwards from Kairos. If it's not as good it will be a disappointment in comparison. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| I got A-Lex this last Saturday, fantastic album in my opinion. I'd say it and Kairos are very close in quality | |

| You forgot to remove Kairos and Somewhere in California from the Wants list.
BTW, why do you only send your trade list by e-mail, rather than making a page for it on the site?

Is Paradox II less keyboardy? It is not less 'keyboardy' per se, but it doesn't abuse the 'massive wall of strings' sound as 'Show Me How To Live' and the first 'Paradox' does. There is more varied instrumentation and the production is clearer. But keys will always be a large part of the RH sound as Andre Anderson, classically trained in piano, writes the majority of the music.

| Night Ranger has coming of age as an iTunes song. That is available thru Amazon. The iTunes version has a cover of dirty deeds. | |

Hear! is an improvement. Just as infectiously melodic but a less slick production and one less sappy ballad. The new one is also good (though IMO not quite as infectious) and the ballads aren't sappy on it either.

| Hey Ult, what version is that Hanoi Rocks' Oriental Beat album? The one I have looks like this... Yours obviously does not. It's the same photo from Self Destruction Blues. Odd that they would release 2 different albums with practically the same cover. Just curious. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Yours obviously does not. It's the same photo from Self Destruction Blues. Odd that they would release 2 different albums with practically the same cover. Just curious. I THINK that picture you posted is the original cover art, or at least the more common pressing. My copy is a Japanese pressing in a miniature record sleeve. I had never seen that cover before and also though it odd that they would use the same photo from Self Destruction Blues. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

Odd indeed. Doing a little searching, it would appear that the handprints cover IS the original artwork (well, second choice after painted boobs were rejected*) and features drummer Gyp Casino in the photo. The cover you have... ...features replacement drummer Razzle, who doesn't appear on the album. He's not on Self Destruction Blues for that matter either. Gyp played on those tracks too before he was fired. Oh those wacky Japanese and their alternate covers. *About the painted boobs. Apparently the original- original artwork submitted was red and blue painted boobies of guitarist Andy McCoy's girlfriend. This was obviously rejected by the record company and used on the back of the album instead. See it here... http://bandhits.co.uk/product.php?id_product=637 _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was.
