Singer EDU FALASCHI Quits ANGRA

I read that Matos is back in Viper (at least for some gigs of theirs).

Didn't see that coming. But to be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if Andre was possibly returning to the band. His solo work and even Shaaman has never really attracted the same attention as Angra, even though I'd argue some of it was better than their late output. It will be interesting to see what happens.

I prefer Edu to Andre......I didn't really get into Angra until Rebirth, and I think everything they've done since has been great.

Edu has been "quitting" for the past 2-3 years. I remember reading some interviews where he claimed that joining Angra had it's toll on him - damaging his voice of being forced to sing way higher than his comfortable range, and unless Angra adjusts to his style he will be going, yadda-yadda. Apparently it is the latter.

i enjoyed Rebirth a lot but their first album is still the best.
