You know, those songs from Demo's or early material that have been remade to fit a bands current style, or changed when a member goes to another band.

I think most On The Prowl by Loudness are re-written earlier songs that were on the Japanese released albums

The one that comes immediately to mind is Yngwie's song Merlin's Castle which 20 years later became The Wizard

The one I thought of is when Metallica re-wrote "Mechanix" as "The Four Horsemen" after they kicked Dave out.

Yup. They took that instrumental, added lyrics and it became 'Blood & Fire' on a Different Kind of Truth.
'Put out the Lights' became 'Beat's Workin'
'Let's Get Rockin' became 'Outta Space'
'Big Trouble' became 'Big River'
'She's the Woman' and 'Bullethead' kept the titles, but had new lyrics added.
I think there might be another song or 2 that existed in demo form from back in the day that I forgot as well.
