The first one was awesome! I look forward to this one as well.

Looks nice. I liked the first Expendables a lot, so i can't wait for the sequel. I just hope that the recent news of it being R-Rated are true. I don't want PG-13 Kiddycrap

The stories that I've heard recently seem to lean towards it getting an R-rating after all, which is what I would prefer it would be.

I saw the trailer at the theater today and cringed throughout, it looks really tired and hackneyed.
Plus the line "I now pronounce you Man & Knife" (prior to him stabbing someone) has to be the dumbest action movie one-liner in recent memory.

I still haven't even seen the first one, but that looks like a hoot to me.

You need to see the first one - it's very much an 80's action flick! Very good flick, can't wait for the new one!

Oh yeah, it's been on my "list" ever since it came out, I just haven't gotten around to it yet.

Haven't seen the first one yet. Maybe I'll catch it this weekend if it's available.
The trailer for the second one was shown before the Avengers. Gotta love that cast.

The first one is a great film (one of the top 3 best movies I've ever seen in the theaters) and you can bet that I'm going to see the new one in the theater as well. That trailer looks awesome and besides, how can you go wrong with Chuck Norris and Dolph Lundgren in the same movie?

Glad to see they got Chuck Norris in this one. I'm surprised they haven't tried to get Steven Seagal yet...

Almost all action movie one-liners are stupid. That's what makes them funny!

Like Dolph in I Come In Peace, "...and you go in pieces."
or Cage in Con Air, "Put the bunny back in the box!"

If "I Come In Peace" and "Con-Air" are some measuring stick for quality, then I'm frightened.

He was actually considered for a part in the first one. However, he turned the role down, because he had worked with the producers in the past and had very negative experiences working with them.

It's OK, while I love both of those, they are certainly not oscar worthy. I like my action movies like my food, cheesy .

You have to remember that The Expendables was a homage to the old school action movies of the 80's. Remember Commando? Who else but Arnold taking on a whole army on an island!
Looks nice. I liked the first Expendables a lot, so i can't wait for the sequel. I just hope that the recent news of it being R-Rated are true. I don't want PG-13 Kiddycrap
It has officially been rated R.
I remember Chuck Norris requested his script be changed, as he was uncomfortable with some of the dialogue. A bit odd, as most of Chuck's action movies were rated R, and he did appear in several movies with f-bombs in the past, including films where he was the one using them himself. I have no idea how many f-bombs will be used in the script otherwise, but I think it's safe to say none will come from Chuck.

I agree. Just grab your popcorn, soda, a seat and enjoy. Perfect summer movie.

Since that time Chuck became a Christian so that has something to do with it. I don't care though, as I find most cuss words unnessesary to my enjoyment of a movie (too much can even be a turn off).
