That's the latest Portnoy et al, right? I didn't give it much thought, but I recently heard a track (courtesy of a Classic Rock mag sampler) and kinda dug it. How's that one? Leather is awesome, but the stuff I've heard on youtube wasn't very promising.

This album is fantastic! Sadly, it's seems to have been overlooked by a lot of prog fans. Very diverse album, with styles ranging from prog-metal to alt-prog like Muse and whatnot, but it all gels perfectly. Really solid stuff.

| I really wanted to like the Flying Colors album, but aside from the instrumental sections here and there it just bored me silly. The songwriting and the vocalist did nothing for me. If these guys had recorded an all-instrumental album I might be interested. |

| Oh, and I also got a Clockwork Angels novel sampler, autographed by Kevin J. Anderson. It's got the first three chapters, plus forewords from Anderson and Neil Peart. Nice little collector's item. | |
