Fans and detractors of Sidney Crosby can now cry in their beer. But only in Philadelphia.

The tears of the Penguins' star are now on tap.

Nodding Head, a bar in the City of Brotherly Love, is offering a new brew called "Crosby's Tears."


That is for those who don't want a jar of Golidhops, Monkey Knife Fight or and Ich Bin Ein Berliner Weisse.

Crosby has been a target of Philadelphia fans and media for awhile but it accelerated in this year's playoffs.

The Philadelphia Daily News portrayed Crosby as the Cowardly Lion on its front page.

During the playoffs Crosby said of the Flyers that "I don't like any guy on their team."

I'd actually hate to see the Cup series be between the Kings and the Flyers. Having my two teams play each other is just stress for me. Haha! At the same time I don't want to see either team lose. It's a weird conundrum. I guess that's why most people only have one team they cheer for.

I like it. Philadelphia has been quite creative with their attacks on Cindy, from the "Guess what"-T-Shirt to the whine-beer now (the same brewery produced a "LAGR" beer, a play on Jagr, creative)
I more and more start to like the Flyers they go where all those Emos and "Classy" fans don't want to go. Let them get the cup, so the Pissburgh fans haven even more to cry about

Now let's see what my Flyers can do today. Hopefully they'll play with more heart today than in the last two games.

Flyers played with some fire and anger against the Pens, they seem languid in this series and I think they're the better team talentwise.

Unless the Flyers pull out a miracle, their second round was disappointing as well. They aren't playing like the A team they are.

I got the Kings pick correct. Looks like the Devils, too. The Capitals and the Rangers could go either way. It's just Nashville that's been surprisingly bad.

They blew their wad in that first series. The Flyers look like a totally different team.



As for the Kings,I'm amazed at what they've pulled off. Quick is playing flat out spectacular and a hot goalie will take you far. I believe they're the first 8th seed to knock off a 1 and 2. I figure that they gotta run out of steam but you never know.

After yesterday's performance, I think I'm done with the Flyers for this season. They're just getting outplayed. If by some miracle they make it to the next round, I'll be back, but I've got other things to watch. I'm out. See ya in the funny papers, fellas.

Yup, a truly disappointing performance. I have little hope of a comeback, but I'm still going to watch and hope for the best. They've pulled off miracles in the past. Win or lose. GO FLYERS!

The Rangers pulled the goalie in the last minute of the third period and scored with 6.6 seconds to put the game into overtime.

The Rangers won their game in overtime.

Also, the Phoenix Coyotes are headed to the third round of the playoffs for the first time in franchise history after defeating Nashville tonight.

It's amazing how the Coytes can keep winning despite getting outshot badly. Mike Smith has to be the story of the postseason.

The officials are also letting a lot of interference and holding or grabbing with the free hand go in these playoffs. Makes 5-man defensive systems much more efficient when you can practically eliminate any open players.

That seems to happen in the playoffs, interference calls get less and less.
