I liked Fundamental Sounds Of Southtown when it first came out. But man did I ever get bored with it quick. That's the problem I always had with groups like this, stuff was decent enough the first few listens but it didn't have any replay value for me at all.
I took my son to see them when that was huge too...they played w/ Linkin Park, Hoobastank and Story Of The Year...it was his first arena show.
You can totally use that against him when you get old and infirm. "You have to let me move in with you, kid. You OWE me. I sat through P.O.D., Linkin Park and Hoobastank for you, for cryin' out loud!"

Oh, for him I have sat through much worse...
Linkin Park, Hoobastank, Disturbed (twice), Story Of The Year, Godsmack, Born Of Osiris, Whitechapel, Three Days Grace, Winds Of Plague, All Shall Perish, Unearth...
I mean, some of those bands have an OK song or two (some of them) but I'd have NEVER gone to see any of them if not for him...
I shudder to think what kind of music will be "hot" when my kids are old enough to start paying attention to such things (my oldest is 9, and my younger boy is almost 5, so I've got a couple more years before I have to worry about that...haha).
Then again, I did come of age during the era of death metal and grindcore, so it's not like anything's gonna shock me. But I have a feeling I'm gonna be sayin' "You call THAT music? It's crap!" an awful lot, just like my parents did... haha
