Agreed. So far they come closest to the Porcupine Tree sound that I love so much. I tried to get into Riverside but they haven't clicked for me yet, I much prefer the songwriting of The Pineapple Thief.

Well, thankfully quite a bit of those guys regret doing that now (one guy chocked it up to youthful stupidity). There are still some who think they should go further with it but there will always be nuts out there. Most black metalers keep their Christian hatred in their music these days.
