listening to the comps i am about to send to Witchfiner

The only Montrose album I ever had was on vinyl. I don't remember a thing about it except that I bought it simply because of the album cover which was some Godzilla-looking monster. I think Hagar was on that one.

I don't agree with Toho on this one, a good album (originally intended to be a solo release, but Chrysalis insisted that they use Jethro Tull). Eddie Jobson (UK) makes a fine addition and stylistically it's not that different from Stormwatch. Some strong tunes as well, particularly "Working John Working Joe" and "Crossfire".

It's definitely better than Under Wraps.

The remastered version of "A" also includes a DVD release of the Slipstream film, which is part live concert footage from the "A" tour and also includes a few music videos.

Funny, I like Under Wraps better than "A" but neither are anywhere near my favorite Tull albums. In fact, those are my 2 least favorite Tull records so flipflopping them really wouldn't change my opinion of either one very much.

I guess I need to revisit this one. I just remember hating it and shelving it.
