| Yea, I'll go with "least favorite" here too...
QUEENSRYCHE - Hear in the Now Frontier (last 'Ryche album I've purchased. It's gone now) JUDAS PRIEST - Demolition (only Priest album that I've owned and then got rid of) FLOTSAM AND JETSAM - Doomsday for the Deciever DEATH ANGEL - Relentless Retribution isn't doing much for me DREAM THEATER - I like all 7 albums I own. FATES WARNING - I like the one compilation I own. ANTHRAX - None. I like every album they've released. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

| QUEENSRYCHE - anything post-HEAR IN THE NOW FRONTIER I guess... haven't felt particularly compelled to check any of those albums out other than MINDCRIME II
JUDAS PRIEST - gotta be DEMOLITION, hands down. Ugh.
FLOTSAM AND JETSAM - WHEN THE STORM COMES DOWN bored the p*ss outta me back in the day, never bothered with anything past that one.
DEATH ANGEL - I only own two DA's (ACT III and ART OF DYING) and I like'em both fine, so I guess "not applicable"
DREAM THEATER - can't stand anything by this band, so take your pick, I guess.
FATES WARNING - never dug deep enough into this band to make any kind of educated statement
ANTHRAX - STATE OF EUPHORIA. Zzzzzzzzzz. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| Queensrÿche: American Soldier (It's very rare to sit down and listen to an album on one sitting, and then say to oneself, "There wasn't one good song on this". Queensrÿche accomplished that rarity).
Judas Priest: Nostradamus (It would be easy to site one of the Ripper Owens albums, but I never revisit this disc. It was way too long, and out of a gazillion tracks, there might have been 5 that I liked. I so anticipated this album, but it was ultimately a huge let down. It's a shame that K.K had to end his days with Priest on this album).
Flotsam & Jetsam: Drift (I only have their stuff up through Drift, so obviously I can't comment on material post '95. This album alone made me think twice about going on in their catalog, as the album for all intents and purposes is a turd.)
Death Angel: The Art of Dying (Here's the deal, I like everything they've come up with, but if I had to choose an album, it's the aforementioned. I think the first 5 songs on the album are really strong, then it kind of goes into a lull after that, yet still enjoyable to my ears).
Dream Theater: Not a fan, so I couldn't even venture to guess on their material.
Fates Warning: (I only have material from Night On Brocken through No Exit, and it's all excellent, so I can't really throw one of those album under the bus.)
Anthrax: Stomp 442 (I like a couple of tunes on this album and that's all. This is one of those albums I really wanted to love, especially coming off the heels of The Sound of White Noise. In terms of a follow up album, this might be one of the worst ever. I never thought I would say that about an Anthrax album.)

Point of Entry and Turbo are both kinda lame, but they still get spins from me from time to time. Demolition, as I stated before is the only Priest album that I bought and subsequently got rid of, so that wins by default. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Heading Out to the Highway Hot Rockin' Desert Plains Troubleshooter I like Point of Entry. It's not their best, but it's certainly not as bad as Demolition or as boring as Nostradamus. QUEENSRYCHE - American Soldier. JUDAS PRIEST - Demolition (though I don't absolutely hate it like a lot of people) Turbo would rank high on this list too, but it has a handful of songs I like as well. FLOTSAM AND JETSAM - I don't know, I don't really dislike anything they've released. Probably would go with Drift, as it's the one I listen to the least. Can't believe someone listed Doomsday for the Deceiver. That one is an absolute classic in my book. DEATH ANGEL - much like Flots, I don't dislike anything they've released. DREAM THEATER - I don't know. I grew bored with this band years ago. Saw them in concert several times and they are boring IMO. Too much wank, not enough substance. I'd probably go with Falling into Infinity as that one never really struck a chord with me. FATES WARNING - like 'em all! Not a bad album in the lot, though I do prefer the early Arch years a bit more. ANTHRAX - Stomp 442, though I do like this one. It's just not a favorite. It took me some time to appreciate it. Fistful of Metal is a heavy metal classic IMO. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

Heading Out to the Highway Hot Rockin' Desert Plains Troubleshooter Exactly!!!!! Point Of Entry is far from their worst!!!! I;d rather listen to Point Of Entry than Ram It Down any day of the week! I almost gave up on Priest when Ram It Down came out (yes, I actually like Turbo). Fortunately they released Painkiller after RID

That was me. I was kinda late getting into Flots. So by the time I finally tracked down a copy of Doomsday, I was already accustomed to their more groove-oriented, latter-day material. Doomsday sounded sloppy and Eric's vocals were too shrieky and over-the-top for me. Perhaps if I'd been there from the beginning, I'd feel differently, but as a new-ish fan (mid/late 90's were talking here), I liked their more mature sound. I like all of their material to some degree, but DftD probably gets the least played. I love High and I know that one usually ranks towards the bottom of their discography. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. | The only two F&J albums I have are DOOMSDAY... and NO PLACE FOR DISGRACE. I've owned a couple of others over the years but none of 'em really did much for me, so I eventually traded'em off.
Doomsday has that cool, naive, youthful charm to it that so many debut albums do... Newsted has described it as "the sound of teenagers on a lot of cocaine..."

It's by far one of their best albums, and I think it is their best one. I'd love to read an interview with him where he talks about it. He wrote the whole thing and I've never heard him say a word about it.

Doomsday also has the distinction of being the highest rated album (in Kerrang/when that mag use to be cool) for that of a debut. It got a 6 rating out of 5. Kind of like Spinal Tap's amps going to 11, I guess. Doomsday is a pretty damn good album, though I do prefer No Place For Disgrace, which is the Flots best album in my opinion.

| Doomsday For The Deceiver is the only Flotsam album I do like, it has a kinetic energy they never came close to capturing again. No Place is flat and lifeless by comparison.
Point Of Entry is one of the BEST Priest albums in my opinion, incredibly catchy and well conceived. Tracks like 'Turning Circles' prove that Priest has more than just metal chops up their sleeves, they have some serious skills for pop songwriting. Point Of Entry is every bit as good as the albums that surround it. The other bonus to POE is that it's one of the least overplayed Priest albums, so thankfully it still sounds quite fresh.

That. Queensryche: Q2K, but i haven't heard any of the albums after that one. Judas Priest: Demolition, although it has a few ok songs. Flotsam & Jetsam:i've only heard the first 2, and like them both alot. Death Angel: i like all of them, although i prefer the first 3. Dream Theater: Octavarium, although it's the only one i've heard from 2000 onwards(and also although the title track is very good). Fates Warning: I've only heard the first 4 and Parrallels, and like all of them, but most of all the ones with John Arch. Anthrax: Stomp 442; i like Anthrax with Belladonna(and Turbin) much more than Bushthrax.

DREAM THEATER - Don't know them well

Glad I'm not the only one with this opinion. Queensryche - anything after Empire. Just never could get into them after that. Judas Priest - Nostradamus. A cd that has done nothing but gather dust since it came out. I suppose at some point I should try to re-visit it. Dream Theater - Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence. DT are a band I really really need to be in the mood for to appreciate it. I can honestly say that I find no "worst" in the catalogues of Flots, Fates, Death Angel, or Anthrax. Big fan of all four bands. Some are "better" loved than others but nothing I can call worst.

I listened to Nostradamus on Spotify and I actually liked it...but I could also understand why people don't like it.
