Favorite Manowar album

Another great band!! Love 'em or hate 'em, they are still the true kings of metal!

What's your favorite Manowar album?

I have a hard time voting here. It's either gonna be Hail to England, or Fighting the World, or Kings of Metal. Guess I'll choose the latter.

Battle Hymns all the way

It's Fighting the World for me. This is the album that I first heard when I discovered Manowar. Way back in the day, Z Rock used to play a lot of songs off this album. "Defender", "Blow Your Speakers", "Holy War", and "Blackwind, Fire and Steel" were all first heard on Z Rock before I ever got the album. It was also the first ever compact disc I purchased.

Fighting the World got my vote,I love Blow your Speakers,cool song.

I went with KoM - it was a tough one between it and FtW.

Kings of Metal for me too. From start to finish this is one solid album

Rats! I *almost* picked that CD up last night too, but I ended up making Anthrax's Spreading the Disease my other purchase (along with Quiet Riot's Rehab).

The only Manowar I own is Warriors of the World. The metal songs are pretty good, but they made some odd operatic and Elvis song choices...

Well spreading the Disease was a good choice alright, but leaving Manowar behind for Quite Riot would not (in my opinion ) be the smartest move you've made this year

Fighting the World for me. I had seen the video for Blow Your Speakers and thought it was cool. When I saw the cassette at the music store (reminding me of KISS - Destroyer) I bought it immediately and was my only release of theirs for the longest time (since rectified)

Same here. I really like what I heard on this album (lyrics are extreme cheese, but I like that) and will seek out more. I looked up Manowar on the search function because I wanted to aks what my next stop with these guys should be. That isn't necessary anymore because I'll just go by the poll to decide what's next.

FTW, because it has Defender on it.
