I think they are essentially broken up. If I remember correctly, Kyle Thomas (guitars/vocals) left, and I can't see how they could go on without him. I would say it's a matter of time until they disband, and if they don't, it's kind of ruining the legacy of the band.

Cant wait for the new Cannibal Corpse album scheduled for 2012.

For the few of us who care, hopefully the new Trans-Siberian Orchestra will come out next year.

i think from touring.... plus they are a metal band. They have only just begun to retire/unretire. Its in their contract...

I thought i was gonna take a break in 2012, but with expected releases from helloween, kreator, priest, kiss, sabbath accept and running wild, i guess i'll need to find me some more money.

New Priest is in the works. I think i read somewhere that they had already done writing songs. As Halford said, it sounds like a mix between Painkiller, British Steel and Sad Wings(!). If the last statement is true, i cant wait

Also, Rage plan to release new album in march. I lost them on Black in Mind though, so I'm not terribly excited.

i get a little concerned when bands start saying the new album sounds like X because invariabley the new album does not. Not saying it cant happen but it is normally more hype than reality.

Man, if the Accept and Testament albums are in line with their last efforts, they will be for-sure killer albums.
