| No, I'm not talking goth metal bands with a male and female vocalist. I'm talking about bands with two male lead singers. What are some you guys know of. Another criteria is both vocalists have to be regualr contributors. There are some bands where one other member will do lead vocals for one song but they aren't who I'm thinking of. This is my list (apart from 3 Inches Of Blood, I can't think of any power, thrash, or any extreme band that has this feature, but that's just me-also, there may be some I forgot):
Styx-Tommy Shaw & Dennis DeYoung Night Ranger-Jack Blades & Kelly Keagy Kiss-Paul Stanley & Gene Simmons .38 Special-Jeff Carlisi/Don Barnes & Donnie Van Zant Kerry Livgren (When Things Get Electric line-up)-Darren Rogers & Jason Beddoe The Storm-Gregg Rolie & Kevin Chalfant Atomic Opera-Kemper Crabb & Frank Heart King's X-Doug Pinnick & Ty Tabor Galactic Cowboys-Ben Huggins & Monty Colvin 3 Inches Of Blood-Cam Pipes & Jamie Hooper

| The Mark III and IV line up of Deep Purple had both Glenn Hughes and David Coverdale trading lead vocals back and forth.
The Beatles and KISS were both unique because their entire band was capable of singing leads

Kansas: Walsh/Steinhardt Your right, I forgot Kansas... and Deep Purple. Guess I never really noticed that Rolie did lead vocals for some Journey songs. Of course I only have 3 full Perry albums and a Greatest Hits package so that's understandable (still working on my Journey discography).

| Journey at least for three albums from 78 - 80, had Gregg Rolie & Steve Perry. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

That explains it. I have none of the albums between Next (1977) and Escape (1981).

| Trampled Underfoot released their one and only album with two singers. Our very own Shawn Pelata being one (on 3 tracks), Rod Hendrix was the other one (on 4 tracks). They were not in the band at the same time though.... _________________ | |

| Savatage used 2 vocalists for sevral years, both with Zak and Jon trading the mic, and when Damond and Jon did the same. And on the songs using the counterpoint singing, all members sing different parts. _________________ | |

The Beatles and KISS were both unique because their entire band was capable of singing leads Yep - KISS was unique in that aspect. King's X too, but Jerry doesn't sing that often. No one mentioned Blue Oyster Cult yet......

| Dunno if this counts, but Peter Baltes sang lead on a couple of songs on Accept's early records. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| The early prog band, Gentle Giant, had two vocalists (Derek Shulman and Kerry Kinnear) on their studio recordings. Kinnear didn't sing live. On their earliest albums, Derek's brother, Phil Shulman, also sang lead vocals before he left the band. That gave them three leads. | |

You'd never recognize these guys today. Well, some of them anyway. I have a bunch of b-sides, if you want them. They had a lot of good demos and stuff.

Oh yeah!!!!! Toto - at one time or another has three vocalists on an album; Paich, Lukather, Kimball(or Williams or Fergie).

Haha. They have more demos out there. Some were released on vinyl singles, like "Love Is A Hate Situation," which I have but have never ripped to MP3. Others that were never released can be found on YouTube. Some really good songs among those unreleased. "Here Was Ricky" and "Dead Sea" are excellent.

I met some of those guys when I was stationed in Little Rock and had no idea who they were at the time. Like, no idea they were once in Mutha's Day Out, you know. I've loved that album since it came out! Quite a surprise to randomly meet them and then months later discover they're the same dudes. Little Rock had a surprisingly kick-ass scene. Bands like Copsodomy, Sickshine, Crankbait, Fleshcompressor, Shredded Corpse, all cool bands. And now of course some of the Mutha's Day Out guys are in Rwake and Deadbird as well, both fantastic bands. I never expected that of Little Rock before I got stationed there. Haha.
