The Annual Halloween Thread - 2011 Edition

Install glass shields then lock them. Easier than moving them to another room.

Unless anything turns up this week, my Halloween will be spent in trucking school. I'm still hoping for a repreive but I'm packing things up just in case.

I have to get some candy to give out. We just normally set some out and call it a night.

Well I had 94 trick or treaters in 2 hours last night.

i was pretty annoyed last night - we had some neighborhood kids but then all these cars started showing up from other places. That was the end of the night for us.

I live 14 miles from a lil town of 200 people. We didn't get any kids except for the curtain climbers of our friends who stopped by. The ol lady had baked some brownies with melted junior mints and M n M's in the mix. The lil rug rats loved em.

Halloween was cancelled in New Jersey due to the snowstorm on Saturday. Half of my town (including my house) is still without power. The Powers That Be proclaimed that trick or treating was only to be done before 6 PM due to the vast amount of fallen trees and power lines/wires on the roads. My kids were bummed but ya gotta figure, this has been a Halloween that they'll remember, for better or worse.

I took my son trick or treating around my parents neighborhood. He was dressed as a soldier.

Took the kids to the Fall Festival at the local civic center.Then went to a buddies house and watched Halloween.

We had a decent showing in our neighborhood. Lotsa folks handing out and tons of kids taking it all in. My son was Lightning McQueen, his sisters were a blue mermaid and a baby chick, and their cousin was a little devil. Good times were had by all. Even dad.

Now the real trick will be keeping the kids from eating all their loot in one setting.

My Halloween Party went well this past Friday. Of course most of my friends didn't show up HAHA! My brother and his GF came but they didn't stay too long. Just about all my gf's friends came. No one took any cds thankfully haha. I still have to post some pictures. I'm in the middle of taking everything down now. Tired of looking at it.

We had a total of 2 kids come to the door last night. So I have a bunch of candy left over

your area seems to lose power all the time...

I got home from work and just vegged out. I would feel guilty about not giving out candy, but most of the houses on this part of the street also had their lights out.

Nothing exciting to report upon. Spent most of mine watching horror movies and nursing a mild cold.

I had the most ever this year - moved into this house 6 years ago (new neighborhood) and every year I seem to get more. I almost ran out of candy!

I went to this years Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios. It was much better than the last time I went in 2006.

"The Thing" maze was really well done, same with the Alice Cooper one.

Danzig was doing his Legacy tour concert there too, but I didn't have tickets... Would've been cool to see that also.
