The last two years I did a top list for the first half of the year. While it is passed the half-way mark, because of all the stress surrounding my life I forgot to do it. Better late than never so here it is. What albums this year so far have left the best impression on you?

Aside from the new Anthrax (which I don't even own yet, I just borrowed a friend's for a few days), Anvil and Stryper's covers album, I have heard nothing released in 2011. This year will go down as The Year I Wasn't There.

This year has been absolutely amazing. It's probably the best one since I became a Metal fan ('06). Here's my current top 10:

I will need to think about my list - some GREAT releases so far this year - the new Dream Theater is the one I have listened to the most out of the gate, so it must be the one I like the best so far...

I agree 'somewhat' because I love Hole In The Sun.

Of the few I have bought this year Saxon - Call to arms is my favourite.

Good stuff from Blood Ceremony and Graveyard as well.
