It's simple to convert tracks to .mp3 in iTunes. You have .mp3 selected as the default ripping method, then just right click on the song and "Create MP3 version" is one of the options.

I usually just burn them to a disc and then rip them from that disc........... or I'll just do what SD suggested.

iTunes can convert to any format it supports. You just have select the format you want in "Import Settings" prior to right clicking on the file.

Let me know what you think of that Gin Blossoms album. I was really disappointed in it, especially coming on the heels of Major Lodge Victory which I loved.
