I'll assume no one has ever heard The Dirty Pearls before. I got their debut EP from CD Baby a few years ago, part of the $5 deal. A great little EP. Unfortunately, I kind of forgot about these guys thanks to the EP being in a damn cardboard sleeve. You never see them sitting on the shelf!
Anyway, they put out a second EP a few years back, and it looks like they've now got something new coming out. Here's the video:
Really good tune. Anyway, thought some of might dig them.

Cmon, give me some credit! If it's in the vicinity of glam/sleaze/punk, I've probably at least heard of it.
I saw this video on sleazeroxx a couple weeks ago. I'd never heard of them before but I really dug the video and have been waiting for the album release ever since.
In fact, I posted about it in the "Last Half Of 2011" thread:

Yeah, I'd never heard of 'em either but I really like the track they posted at sleazeroxx.

Forgive me. Haha.
I only have their first EP. I saw the second one had come out long ago, but never got it. Now it appears both EPs are unavailable. Bummer. =(
And I see they just played Boston last night. I'm missing the damn boat left and right these days!
Because the "classic bands" probably have been talked to death. Yet most people here don't seem interested in investigating new bands or bands that might be on the fringes of their normal listening habits.
From my perspective, even a "Geez, that really sucks" post is more welcome than complete ignorance of the thread.

Kinda catchy. I like it.

Got my copy of this yesterday. While the song at the top of this thread is the best track IMO, there are several others that are quite good as well and have a decidedly retro punk feel to them. Lots of melody on it which is always a good thing in my book.
Like this one which reminds me of The Clash (I'm sure it's the guitar in the verse):
