I was listening to Riot, and wondered how in the world were these guy's not as big as Maiden, Priest, and the Sabs? I mean Thundersteel is just a nasty (in a good way) album. You guy's know any bands that are just criminally underrated that you just wanna spread the news about?

There was a band in the 90's called Laundry, that released a couple albums and I think they opened for Tool at some point. They gained a little bit of attention from the alternative crowd for featuring Tim Alexander from Primus, but not nearly in the same magnitude as a lot of other bands of that style. Shame too, because they really had a unique sound

doubtful. i'm not talking about huge sales, just longevity. ND aren't exactly kings of radio/mtv. however in the grindcore/death metal genre, they do pretty well for themselves. so i really don't think the name of a band matters much to fans of that genre. hell, look at Rotting Christ. they haven't done badly for themselves either. no, something else had to lead to their early demise.
