Very cool seeing Red Velvet Car getting some praise. I thought it was excellent. Seems like a lot of people didn't like this one for some reason. I think it's album that fits nicely between their heavier 70s stuff and their poppy 80s stuff.

Agreed....and it's the perfect length. 10 songs and out. That's how all albums should be.

Great review of Havok's new one! I completely agree with everything you said.

I think the people who didn't like it were the ones who like the band's glossy 80's pop stuff. This album is much more organic. I like it a lot.

Excellent job, I should send you some of my Slade vinyl, of albums I have replaced with a CD copy. I found it annoying that you have every major metal/glam act in the world but Slade!!! But I understand so much money so little money, and I know you do like these geordie lads.

Based on Scott's review , that new Believer album may not be that good for me.

I checked out the update before I started posting. I still need to pick up the Havok cd and after reading the Heart review I'd like to hear that album, too.

I listened to Gabriel twice. I liked it both those times.
