It's one of those things where the older I get, the more I appreciate it. I always knew scattered songs growing up, and the jokes about his voice, etc. I always liked his songs done by other people (Jimi Hendrix & U2 doing "...Watchtower", and "Knockin' On Heaven's Door" done by other people). He was always someone I respected from afar. But over the last few years, I've really been getting more and more curious to sit down with his music and check it out because now when I hear it, I really "hear" it...so I figured a 2CD "essential" collection was the way to go.
