yeah dude! Neon cross is really underated I think...that s/t album from 88' is awesome, also the demo. If you dont own the album already I would suggest looking into the millenium eight reissue...it has both of them on one disc. Im not too much of a fan of the disc that came out in 1995 though.

I have the S/T, and it's very solid indeed. There's a good mix of tempos throughout, so it holds your attention. As Stender said, the demo was ecellent as well. If you can get the M8 reissue, you get both releases on one disc, and the demo contains my personal favourite NC song: "Son of God". Great heavy/power metal!

It's too bad they never got to put out the folow up to the debut.
I like "Torn" cause I grew up in the 70's and that is a totaly 70's record.
The songs that were on Rugged Cuts had just Dave and Don, the drums and bass were done by Barren Cross members Jim and Steve.

Buy My Record rocks! Is it actually on a real Neon Cross release?

No, neither of those songs are on their two full-length albums. "Son of God" was on one of their demos and on the California Metal compilation and Buy My Record was on Rugged Cuts compilation.

I dont understand why they didnt record son of God for the album, it was definately the best track on the demo.

If you are a christian and you like rock/metal then you must get Neon Cross. It is mandatory. If you arent a christian and you just like 80's hard rock/heavy metal and dont mind a little bit of preachiness, then you should look into getting it.

I bought Rugged Cuts (or Premium Cuts, as it was retitled folowing the name change of the record label) for those NC songs. "Buy My Record" is indeed awesome.

Son of God and I need your love were not on the original "frontline Life" demo. They were supposed to be on the second Neon Cross album but ended up on the comp. California Metal.

Wish that second album would have been released. At one time they were promising that it would finally be released but it never happened.

Yeah that and a new one together in one package. It was a bummer Bill didn't allow them to go on at later time at UFTA 2. Wasn't ya gonna do "Son of God" with them ?

That would of ripped. I kinda/sorta sang with you once
At Cali-Stone...I got to shout "heart of metal" into the mic. You were pointing it at somebody else. I was next to him and got busy. Too bad you couldn't work out the logistics to go and do a festival with that guy over in Europe. I gave him a Ultimatum shirt anyways. We stayed at the same house during the festival. I "think" his name was Andreas.

I seen them once years ago at the "TNT" show. (Tourniquet/Neon Cross/Titanic)
I remember liking at least one of their songs.

I'm a christian, I like rock/metal...I have "Torn" by Neon Cross, find it to be rather lame.
