Sad indeed, any death no matter who is a loss.

you go on to boards and people say things like "wow there's a lot of musicians dying at the moment", well there will be plenty more musicians dying in the near future. that's reality, people get older and we just have to just accept it, not too long and it will be Lemmy, Ozzy, Halford etc.......

I personally don't need to be reminded of their date of death (in these "12 years ago today" threads). I just don't care. Rather give me the birthdays of those that are still alive.

Take Scott C for example, I never met the man and I liked Manowar during his tenure, but there are many people dying every week/month that you do know and have met but for some reason these musicians dying seem to come across as life altering to many (not talking percisely about just here, but in general on music baords).

I agree with that. And talking about Scott, he was very active on Facebook, even just before a few hours he passed away.

Great point FF! I agree with that too that while it is sentimental, celebrate those who are alive.

I remember when he left MANOWAR for the first time and burned his drumkit because his daughter or son, dont remember, was very ill and he needed to be with her/him 24 hours a day. I think he was a good person, not a smurf poo head, and if he is tired of his life, its better if he ends it by SUICIDE. If not he would be not happy and just do harm to others with his depressions. Life is to short to waste time by being depressed and make other people feel like smurf poo.
