| Led Zeppelin's "How The West Was Won", a show (or shows) from 1972. It kicks the crap outta "Song Remains The Same", as does the BBC shows from '69-71, although they were released in the 90's. | |

I'd agree on both of them. I love those BBC Sessions. They were a lean, mean, hungry band at that point and it shows. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

| In addition to all of the spectacular live albums already listed -
Grand Funk Railroad - Live Album Starz - Live in America (I used to have this one on vinyl, but haven't been able to find it on CD)

| Also listening to Sweet - Live In America. It was released in '09 but it's songs from the seventies and it sounds great. | |

| Sabbath's 'Past Lives', 'Uriah Heep Live' (73) and Uriah Heep's 'Live at Shepperton '74' spring immediately to mind.
Not metal related at all - but The Who's 'Live At Leeds' and 'Live At The Isle Of Wight Festival' are absolute classics of the period. | |
