CRESCENT SHIELD- THE LAST OF MY KIND

This is one of my favourites from last year!!!!
Strange how little attention this has gotten on this forum, and elsewhere.
Absolutely top class US power/traditional melodic Metal
The band has members from New Eden, Onwards, Destiny`s End, Cypher Seer, Sinergy, Seven Witches+++. So it is a great shame that noone seems to notice!!
Anyone else into them???

That's the problem. Their distro is pretty bad. I've heard songs from it, and it's been on my list for a long time, but I've never seen it around here. I could order it online, of course, but the price tag stinks! I like cheapies. Hehe.

I have it and it's killer, Ignitor just singed with that label!

Good call!!! I checked out their myspace...they rock and went on my very small want list! They are hard to find...but I found them at theendrecords for a decent price....

Decent band, but the vocalist is a little too over-dramatic for me. I liked his last band, Onward, better.

They had thier albim for FREE download from thier site not long ago...I meant to get to it, but never made it...

It's on the wantlist!

I've been on a Crescent Shield tear lately! I pulled it out of the pile about a week ago and my car won't spit it out! This is so good. It's creeping up into top 20 or even top 10 all-time for me and Grant is also becoming a top-10 vocalist.

So true! To me this is the perfect example of 80's feeling and style with 2000's production and precision. Every song is great. 10/10!

I dont know. I owned this cd for awhile and it did nothing for me. The music was good but vocals got on my nerves.

Super massive bump.

Been spinning this one again lately. As usual, when it comes up in rotation, it tends to get stuck there. It's an all-time Top-10 for me. RIP Grant. This music literally can't be made anymore.

It was good but I ended up liking Onward better.

I got this album in a record shop while in the Greek islands this summer. Excellent album 🤘.

IF you like this, check out Pharaoh.

Joking aside, Dark Horseman is correct. Both Onward and Pharaoh are excellent (and in a very similar vein).

I picked up this album along with another great cd titled the perfect machine, by an Italian power metal band named Vision Divine. The latter is outstanding as well.
