New Crescent Shield

New album coming from Crescent Shield. Really looking forward to this, as i think their last album was very good.

CRESCENT SHIELD SET RELEASE DATE AND REVEAL ARTWORK FOR NEW ALBUM
US Metal diehards CRESCENT SHIELD will release their second album “The Stars of Never Seen” this spring on Cruz del Sur Music. The album will be released on the 8th of May in Germany and Europe, 11th of May in UK and June 2 in USA/Canada. The first pressing will include a limited edition DVD of their entire performance at Germany’s Keep it True Festival in April 08. The artwork for the CD was again done by comic book artist Gerry Alanguilan and can be viewed below.

The band is in the final stages of mixing the record with renowned metal producer Bill Metoyer, so the new album promises to be not only a step up musically but also sonically. Tracklisting for “The Stars of Never Seen” follows:

Wow, don't know why I never picked up "Last of My Kind" when I had read great reviews about it years ago. Another band I have to check out.

I have always said that seeing a band in a small club blows away the arena or stadium "blow your wad" shows. After all intimacy is a bonus compared to whan bam thank you mam.

They're from LA, I'm from LA, so it could happen!

I finally listened to songs on myspace. This is quickly becoming one of my all-time favorite bands. They know how to write simple, romping metal tunes!!

Did you read one of my posts yesterday? I am temporarily lifting the curtain on my ban for my birthday. My wife refuses to by cds for me, so I have to do it myself. I bought Axel Rudi Pell's - Nasty Reputation and I just ordered the new Crescent Shield (along with a Last Of My Kind t-shirt) and now I've got $13.00 more US dollars to spend before the curtain again falls until December. I'm right in the middle of figuring out what I will buy next.

Must have missed that, good for you.
Seems like you`re spending your money wisely on your little curtain lift .
Now all you have to do to make it perfect, is to use those 13$ to buy yourself a COMMUNIC album.
Your life will never be the same again .

As for your ban, i think it`s a great idea, should have done something like that myself.
I have way to many CD`s, and to little time to listen to all as much as i want.
Yet i keep buying more, damned online CD shopping addiction...

After 4-5 listens this is pretty good.

Last Of My Kind is a "Desert Island" disc for me, an all-time Top-10 album, so The Stars Of Never Seen was up against a monster. It holds up pretty well. LOMK had a couple stand out songs at first and then the rest kind of snuck up on me. This might be what's happening here. It's basically a very similar album in my opinion, which is just fine with me. Not fixing what isn't broke here.

I just received two Crescent Shield cd's and am really liking them. This is my kind of metal.
