| I always thought Guillotine's UNDER THE GUILLOTINE sounded like early Kreator. As for album covers how about these two | |

i wouldn't say that, i hear a lot of the first 2 Slayer albums in AoB too. _________________

| Black Sabbath - Sleep and Sheavy.
Sheavy sounds so much like Sabbath that some of the customers actually ask me if i'm listening to Sabbath.

Correct, especially the first two albums

The first one, yeah. Not after that though. I always thought they sounded more like Pantera. Then again, people considered "D" and Oil to be Metallica clones and I didn't agree with those though Deliverance did have some riffs that were quite like Metallica on their first two albums. I find that when I first discover band A that sounds like band B, I usually disagree after I become more familiar with band A. But probably that's just me.

Bullet '77 ...some of The Angels... sounds like AC/DC A lot of the first Cinderella album fits that bill, too. That's funny, I have always heard a little of Tom Keifer in the guy who sings for Airbourne.

| When I first read about Ultimatum in the RadRockers catalog years ago, it described 'em as "similar to Overkill, Exodus, and AC/DC."
Wasn't it Exodus or Overkill that covered AC/DC's "Overdose"?
Who ever it was, I heard it and it was quite good.

I agree with that. I always thought more Pantera than Metallica as well. Part of that is because of the very sterile, digital recording, which is the same sound Pantera made popular. The vocals are at times very Hetfield-ish, so that's where the Metallica connection comes from. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

Actually, the rolley eyes thing was what i would do if the darkest hour guys actually said what i wrote. It had nothing to do with you... On the computer it's sometimes easy to take things the wrong way.
