I love that Cry Of Love album. I wish more hard rock was this - tough, blues-influenced riffs all around. Anyone can reccomend something similar (or even lots of similar bands - can even be glam!)?

This is a very cool album! I can see why The Black Crowes picked up Audley Freed(he's still no Marc Ford) but he is damn good in this band.



I was going to pick up the first Brother Cane album to try out... they didn't have it.

I was going to pick up the first Brother Cane album to try out... they didn't have it.

Yeah. It has really good songwriting too blues-based hooks, Hendrix-like licks at times and a lot of Grand Funk/Bad Company moments. Wish someone would throw more stuff like that my way - I love those types of albums.

That first Brother Cane is very much in the same vein as the first Cry Of Love.
