Very difficult... had to go with Bad Company, though.

Bad Company by a long shot ! Bought a double CD set of live show material from 1077 and 1979 concerts. Good quality.

Bad Co. by a wide margin. I like a few Survivor songs from the first few albums, but I own every BC album (even the Brian Howe era) and like them all. Paul Rodgers is a legend.

I’m not big on either... I like a couple songs from both. They are like background music to me.

I'm honestly surprised that Survivor got 13 votes.

I am as well, though I'm clearly a much bigger Survivor fan.

This was an odd pairing. A much better poll would’ve been Survivor or Loverboy. Eh, what do I know? Haha!

Loverboy has the big radio hits. Survivor has the Rocky movie...

Went BC but I like the Howe era better then Rodgers. I know, shoot me now. I also enjoy Survivor, they have more hits then people realize.

They didn't have any others that I can remember.

1077? "Sir Richard of Blackmore, in regards to that music your court musicians are working on, your cousin Marvin requests your presence in his kingdom to listen to what the minstrels there known as the company of bad have come up with"

I prefer Dave Bickler era Survivor and freakin' love this song. Legend has it that after hearing this tune, Stallone asked them for a contribution for the next Rocky film. The rest is history.

Bad Company easily gets my vote. The Paul Rodgers years certainly warrant it on their own, but I'm also a huge fan of the Brian Howe years: Dangerous Age, Holy Water, and Here Comes Trouble. I even like the Robert Hart years in the mid-1990s.

This is a perfect example of everything wrong with rock in the 80's. Over abundance of keyboards and dads in aviator glasses and Member's Only jackets "rocking out".

I only started buying Bad Company's albums a few years ago, and I still don't have many, just six of them plus Stories Told & Untold. What surprised me was how many hits they had and how many I knew but somehow didn't realized they were Bad Company songs.
That said, Survivor has quite a number of them too, and arguably the more iconic hits. Weird comparison, but a tough call. I picked Survivor just because "Eye of the Tiger" and "Burning Heart" are so badass.
