| As others have posted, there was no big shock to see a lot of these 'glam' bands in record collections alongside Maiden, Metallica, and that sort of stuff. It was all metal back then. It really was the Hollywood scene that a lot of bands tried to adopt and look like. As far as myself goes, I had/have a ton of the L.A. bands in my collection from that era. There were a few stores in the city I lived in that carried a lot of the specialty stuff. | |

| Those were my Middle School / High School years and I wasn't really a big fan at the time. I was more into Megadeth, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Nuclear Assualt, Overkill, Anthrax, Testament and etc.
