| Burn my eyes is a very decent delivery. I still don't own it.

| Burn My Eyes is an awesome album. The More Things Chang, Through The Ashes Of Empires and The Blackening are mint albums too.
Been listening to Burn My Eyes a lot lately. None But My Own is an awesome song!

- I like this album. There are some killer songs on it, too. Supercharger is their turd of an album, though it does have some good tunes. Of course, I can see how The Burning Red would turn people off, especially those that don't dig modern metal, but it's not a bad album. In fact, the title track and "Silver" are two of my favorite Machine Head songs.
And I don't care, "Desire to Fire" and "From This Day," the two songs Rob "raps" on, kick ass. But again, you have to dig that sort of thing. Yea what he said. When I first bought the album I couldn't believe my ears but it grew on me over the years. When I went to rate the songs I never realized how many songs I gave 5 stars. I also like the Police cover Message in a Bottle. It's not the best Machine Head album but its better than anything on Supercharger. Really? Which songs would you give a 5 to on this album? Desire To Fire, The Blood The Sweat The Tears (probably my favorite MH song), Silver, Defy, Five, and Message In A Bottle. Thanks. I'll give another list to Desire To Fire, The Blood The Sweat The Tears , Silver, Defy, and Five. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| Desire to Fire is a little Limp Bizkit sounding but I can get through it because the song is better than anything Limp Bizkit has ever did or will do. But don't think of that when you listen to it haha _________________ | |

| Man, I like Limp Bizkit. Haha. I think their debut is pretty bad, but after that...great stuff. | |

| I only own Burn My Eyes, and The Blackening, but I like them both! Why I haven't completed their discography is beyond me. But, this thread has sparked my interest in them again.
Oh yeah, PRD, your avatar is awesome...................the first part at least.

| I only have Burn My Eyes, which I enjoy. But after wasting spending many hours around here, reading numerous opinions of their other output, I haven't the money or desire to really get into anything else. I've considdered picking up The Blackening a few times, especially after seeing them live opening for Metallica, but skipped over it in favor of something else. I don't see me getting any other Machine Head disc anytime soon. Perhaps someday, but it's far from a priority. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

| I'm coming rather late into this thread but I have to side with the positive sentiments expressed here about the Burning Red. I know many (Machine Head fans included) dislike this album, and while I do agree that it has a more 'commercial' direction than Burn My Eyes or The More Things Change it is still has a number of very good songs.
It's all a matter of what you like in the end. I am not big on nu-metal but this album is of a much better quality than other nu-metal releases.

- I had never given this album a listen before. I had read such horrible reviews that I just stayed away from it. I now own a copy of this atrocity. Wow! What a horrific album.
I don't think its that bad there actually are some guitar solos on it. Desire to fire would of been of better if Rob Flynn hadn't rapped that was a big mistake. I think it's better than Ashes of Empire but it's still a weak album it's the fight for the rock of Machine Head. I even like the Message in the Bottle cover.
