Jethro Tull has a song called "The Whistler", but alas, he's referring to a "fife"...so no actual whistling takes place.
Usually, when I hear someone whistling during a song I have 2 thoughts go through my head almost immediately:
1. couldn't come up with enough lyrics 2. vocalist can't play any instruments.
