The vinyl originally belonged to musician/producer Bill Bartell who worked with Kiss, among others. The vinyl was signed for him. He put the vinyl and some other rare Kiss items up for auction on Backstage Auctions in 2005 during the "Kiss My Auction" event. If you look at the picture you can see the certificate signed by Bill next to the record. The record was purchased by Morgan Neiderheiser for $125.00, who in turn gave me the record as a gift. This particular bootleg has a paper trail a mile wide to track the originality of the autographs. It's a particularly rare bootleg. (Sadly, my good friend Morgan died last year.)

If I'm not mistaken, I downloaded one of their demos from Ian Christe's "old school metal" blog a while back, but I don't remember if I dug it or not. Since I remember nothing about it, I guess I'd have to say "not."

Yes, interview picture discs. Another gift from a friend. Those came from Arttie, who posts here sometimes.

Yes, it sucks! He was a very generous guy. He and his wife were both found dead in their beds a few months ago in Nodine, Minn. His rock and roll collection exceeded mine by A LOT! His house could have been opened up as a rock and roll museum. It was incredible. Guitars signed by Aerosmith, framed autographed albums, stage cloths from Ted Nugent, touring cases, the dress the Cindi Lauper wore in the Girls Just Wanna Have Fun video, autographed drum heads, etc. I spent a weekend there and was in awe.

I never even started collecting KISS vinyl. I did collect KISS CDs, but I kinda gave up on the collecting, as I simply don't have the money anymore.
